This year Commonwealth Biomonitoring is marking its 25th anniversary of providing water quality consulting services. Since its beginning, the company has focused on using biology to answer questions about the health of aquatic resources. During its early years, the company worked primarily to supply whole effluent toxicity tests and toxicity reduction information for wastewater discharges. Since then, we have evolved into a much wider range of biology-oriented projects including lake and watershed management, fisheries, pathogens, GIS, and environmental restoration.
